Club Intro

Situated on the Plym estuary the club provides facilities for people of all ages and ability to enjoy the sport as a pastime.

As a member of the West Of England Amateur Rowing Association ( WEARA ), the club promotes rowing in a safe, friendly environment with members from all ages, ranging from veteran ( 30+ ) to junior (10 years + ).

New members and those who are interested in trying the sport as part of a great pastime are always welcome. The club has various members from those who row recreationally, to others who train to compete in the various events hosted around the region and beyond. The club currently is actively seeking new members and also participates in the Plymouth Rowing Forum which encourages youngsters to take up the sport.

The club annually hosts its own head race and regatta on the Plym Estuary. This normally occurs around the end of January and the beginning of June respectively, with clubs from across the SW travelling to enjoy a good days racing.
